Terms of use

The game

Critter Planet is a free game you play in your browser, made by De Bruijne Investments BV in the Netherlands. There is nothing to buy.

We keep making the game better, so things in it may change, move or disappear, rewards and prices in the game too. We may also stop the game one day; if we can, we tell you in the game beforehand.

Your keeper account

• You need a keeper account to play. Give an email address that is yours or a parent's, so you can get a new password when you forget it.
• If you are younger than 16, ask a parent or guardian before you make an account.
• Keep your password to yourself. You are responsible for what happens with your account, so tell us if you think someone else uses it.

Your keeper name

Other players see your keeper name. Do not pick a name that is rude or hurtful or that pretends to be someone else, and do not put personal details in it, such as your full name, address or phone number. We may change a name that breaks this rule, or close the account.

Play fair

Play the game as it is meant to be played. Do not use cheats, bots or changed saves to get ahead in anything you share with other players, do not make extra accounts to send yourself gifts, and do not try to get into our servers or into other players' accounts. Found a bug? Please tell us instead of using it.

Coins, crystals and critters

Coins, crystals, materials, critters and everything else in the game only exist in the game. They are worth no real money, you cannot buy them or sell or trade them for money, and they are not your property. We may change them, for example to fix a bug or to keep the game fair.

Ads

Once the game offers ads, watching one is always your own choice. The reward comes after the ad has played. We may change what an ad gives, or stop offering ads.

Our work

Critter Planet, its critters, drawings, names, music and texts are our own work and belong to us. You may share screenshots and videos of your own game, but do not copy the game or parts of it to use somewhere else.

Stopping

You can stop playing at any time, and ask us to delete your account by emailing info@debruijneinvestments.nl. We may pause or close an account that breaks these rules; in a serious case without warning first.

No guarantees

We do our best to keep the game running and your planet safe, but we cannot promise that the game is always there or without mistakes, or that progress is never lost. The game comes as it is. As far as the law allows, we are not liable for damage from using it. None of this takes away the rights you have as a consumer.

Your privacy

How we handle your data is in our privacy policy.

Changes

We may change these terms. We put the new version here with a new date, and for a big change we tell you in the game. If you go on playing after that, the new terms apply.

Which law applies

Dutch law applies to these terms. If we disagree about something, let us talk first. If that does not solve it, a Dutch court decides, unless the law of your own country lets you go to a court there.
